Author Biography

Dr. Daniel Kirschenbaum a clinical psychologist, is Professor of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University Medical School. He is also Clinical Director and Vice President of Wellspring (a division of CRC Health Group)—the leading provider of treatment services for overweight young people in the United States. He is currently on the U.S. Olympic Committee's Registry of Sport Psychologists and is a Certified Consultant, AASP. He has served as a consultant to the United States Olympic Committee, the National Basketball Association, the Ladies Professional Golf Association, Weight Watchers, WebMD, the Adler School of Professional Psychology, and numerous scientific journals.
