Summary
The Technology in Education International Conference and Exposition (TechEd) is an annual four-day conference, organized under the auspices of the Sacramento-based Community College Foundation. TechEd2000 was held March 6-9, 2000 at the Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs, California. This year's theme was TechEd2000, Teaching and Learning in a Network World. Just saying it conjures up a vision of the future. And that's what this conference is about. The conference brings together thousands of professionals. From all sectors and levels of education, and provides a vision of the exciting, interactive, technology-rich future of education. And this vision is already coming true today! TechEd2000 plays a vital role in equipping universities, colleges, and schools with a strong base technology awareness and the knowledge needed to tackle the increasing challenges of teaching and learning. \We are pleased to report that TechEd2000 attracted more than 400 presentation submissions. The presentations accepted for TechEd2000 demonstrate innovative solutions for key technology issues faced by educational institutions from throughout the world.
