Summary

This story is based on an Advent homily shared by Fr. Brian Morrow with his congregations for more than 20 years. There really is a paper mache bug that serves as an engaging prop for the message, but the real nemesis during Christmas lies in our desire not to give, but to get. You'll smile and shudder as young Benjamin Getts encounters a bug that cannot be banished with swatter and insect spray. Our hero learns that the true meaning of Christmas lies not under the tree, but in the heart.
