Author Biography

Dr. Ruth K. Westheimer, E.D.D., received her Doctorate in Education from Columbia University and studied psycho-sexual therapy at New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical School. She has held a private practice for nearly two decades, is an adjunct professor at New York University, and lectures at college campuses all over the country. She was awarded the 1995 Medal of Sexology by the American Board of Sexology and regularly appears on radio and TV programs and in print media all over the world. She has written 15 books, including Dr. Ruth's Encyclopedia of Sex (now on CD-ROM), The Art of Arousal, Dr. Ruth Talks to Kids, and Dr. Ruth Talks to Grandparents.
