Summary
Recovery in Uoi is slow, especially when Aurora, Kerr and Thuban aren't allowed to know anything of Wolvow's condition. Learning that Qylena calls him friend takes a weight off Wolvow's mind, but a new one soon takes its place when he learns what the tattoo spanning from Qylena's hand to her chest and back means. Kiturm hate those who wear that mark, but removing it will cripple Qylena for life. Aurora and her friends need to gain the support of the Kiturm if they want to have a chance of finishing this quest, but the cost could be too much. Asking Qylena for help was one thing, but can they ask her to make such a huge sacrifice?

MM Sudie started writing when she was thirteen. She always liked knowing more and more background for the characters in her favorite books. The ideas for the scenery in her novels comes from some of the places she's seen in her home state of Minnesota throughout the year.
