Author Biography

Marian Potter wrote the classic Little Golden Book The Little Red Caboose, published in 1953. It has never been out of print.

Tibor Gergely was born in Hungary in 1900 and emigrated to the US in 1939. He went on to become one of the most prolific early illustrators of Little Golden Books. His classics include TootleThe Little Red Caboose, and Scuffy the Tugboat. He died in 1978.
