Summary

Four people walk the roads of Spain at its glorious peak in 1539, each rejected by society and fleeing from something: a woman wants to escape her past, a young girl leaves her childhood behind, a black albino man is marked by his condition, and an eccentric young man searches for love. Their hidden pasts unite them on the adventuressome happy, some painful, all excitingthat punctuate their journey. But just as in a labyrinth of mirrors, everything is not always as it seems, and the fates of the four heroes are resolved in unexpected ways.
